Crafting a brand for Mayor Francis Suarez
Francis Suarez was a two-term commissioner running for Mayor of the City of Miami. Over the course of 18 months, Guzman Labs worked closely with Commissioner Suarez and his campaign to create a brand emblematic of the transformational leadership Suarez represented, and designed signage and other campaign materials.
Writing a New History
The brand leveraged modern hues of traditional, political colors to connote a fresh, new generation of political leadership.
Moving Miami Forward
Sharp, slanted lines and oblique lettering provide a sense of propulsion and motion to the logo and branded materials evocative of the progress sought by the candidate.
Putting People First
Wide kearning and humanistic fonts deliver campaign messages clearly while art deco elementes speak to Miami’s history as a style capital.

Reaching Out to Everyone
Campaign materials were designed in multiple languages: English, Spanish, and Creole – the three most commonly spoken languages in Miami.
Francis Suarez was elected the 43rd Mayor of the City of Miami with over 90% of the vote becoming the first mayor to be born in the city.
